Understanding real estate salesperson license requirements

To get your Florida real estate salesperson license, you must be 18 years of age and should have your high school diploma. Educational requirements include a 63 classroom-hours of pre-licensing course. A completed application with electronic fingerprints and fee must be submitted. You need to clear the Real Estate Sales Associate Examination, with at least 75 points, after which the DBPR RE 11-Become Active - Sales Associate form must be submitted to activate the license. You can also ask the employer to activate your license using his online account.
